Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen security across modern cloud environments and help organisations build secure, resilient and scalable platforms.

You will work alongside cloud engineering, DevOps and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement controls and continuously improve cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain cloud security controls
  • Secure AWS, Azure and/or GCP environments
  • Monitor cloud environments for threats and vulnerabilities
  • Configure IAM, network security and access controls
  • Support Zero Trust security initiatives
  • Develop security policies, guardrails and automation
  • Integrate cloud platforms with SIEM and security monitoring tools
  • Conduct vulnerability and security assessments
  • Support incident response and remediation
  • Embed security into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines

Requirements

  • Experience in cloud security engineering
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience with IAM and privileged access management
  • Understanding of network security, firewalls and segmentation
  • Knowledge of security monitoring and SIEM technologies
  • Familiarity with containers/Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, Azure Security Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
