Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Centre Engineer to support the delivery, operation and optimisation of critical data centre infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work across technical systems and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high levels of availability, performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the installation and commissioning of data centre infrastructure
  • Diagnose and resolve technical and infrastructure issues
  • Maintain electrical, mechanical or critical infrastructure systems
  • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Work with engineering contractors and specialist suppliers
  • Review technical documentation and method statements
  • Support testing, commissioning and handover activities
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety and operational standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and site reliability

Requirements

  • Experience working within data centres, critical infrastructure or engineering environments
  • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Understanding of critical power, cooling, BMS, electrical or mechanical systems
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience

Desirable: Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centres, HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, HVAC or BMS.
