Job Description

VAIRO is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to design and implement secure technology architectures across complex enterprise environments.

You will work closely with technology, engineering and security teams to embed security into systems and platforms from design through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design secure enterprise and cloud architectures
  • Develop security patterns, standards and technical controls
  • Conduct threat modelling and security assessments
  • Identify security risks and recommend appropriate mitigations
  • Design solutions covering network, identity, data and application security
  • Support Zero Trust and defence-in-depth strategies
  • Review technical designs and architecture proposals
  • Work with engineering teams to implement security controls
  • Support governance, risk and compliance requirements
  • Communicate technical security concepts to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong experience in cyber security architecture
  • Enterprise security architecture experience
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Strong understanding of IAM, network security and data protection
  • Experience with security frameworks and risk management
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills

Desirable: CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF or relevant cloud security certifications.
